I wrote the bare bones of this song at a live gig with my band Stevie J & The Fat Yaks. There was a mood shift in the audience and I felt a slow bluesy shuffle would be perfect, but I couldn’t think of a cover song to play in the moment. So we jammed and I created this. With a few embellishments added in the studio later. – Stevie J

For the Muso’s: This sounds like your typical run-of-the-mill 12 bar blues song right? Except it’s not. Did you spot the difference? It’s actually an 8 bar blues. Gets to the punchline a bit quicker.
